People Are Already Paying for Pretty Cookies

Custom decorated cookies are a real market. Among 10 home sellers we checked, the starting price for a dozen ran from $40 to $96, with a median of $50. And home sellers say October through December fill up with holiday orders.

Perfect timing

There's Still Time. Not for Long.

Teachers, offices and neighbors all want something homemade in December, and almost nobody has the time to make it. They order from the woman they already heard about, and the first boxes are the ones that get passed around.

Why this works

Built for Women Who Think They Have No Talent

✍️

You won't need to draw

Every design is outline, flood, then a few simple details, shown in pictures, one step at a time. If you can squeeze a bag and follow a picture, you can make these.

⏰

You'll work when you want

Bake one night, decorate the next. Two dozen a week fits around your job, your kids or your retirement. You decide which orders you take.

📈

You'll keep about $42 of every $50 dozen

A dozen costs you about $8 in ingredients and packaging. Home bakers charge $45 to $60 a dozen. The price calculator shows you what to charge, so you never work for free.

💵

You'll start small, with your own oven

$27 for the Method, plus about $75 in icing supplies, cutters and boxes. No bakery, no storefront, no stand mixer. Two or three paid dozens can cover all of it.

Year-round orders

After you join

Your First 7 Days, Step by Step

Day 1–2

Read the Two-Icing Rule, bake your first tray

One evening. Make the vanilla dough, chill it and bake a dozen plain cookies. They keep for days, so nothing is rushed.

Day 3–4

Decorate your practice dozen

Mix the two icings, outline and flood. Your first ones won't be perfect, and that's fine. Family will eat every one.

Day 5–6

Box them, set your price, tell people

The calculator gives you the price. Post with the template, first to people who already know you: friends, church, the school pickup line and your local Facebook group.

Day 7

Take your first paid order

Once your state's steps are done, pick a design with her, write down the date and take the deposit. Then preheat the oven.

That's it. One week. And just like that, you're selling cookies for a little extra income.

What you'll get

The Complete Method

From the first tray you bake to your first extra income from it.

Module 1

The 12 Tested Recipes

Doughs and icing · why cookies spread · and the fix

Most sugar cookies puff and lose their shape in the oven, and no amount of decorating saves a blob. These doughs hold their edges. Vanilla, chocolate, lemon, gingerbread and more, all with supermarket ingredients and a home oven.

  • No stand mixer needed
  • How far ahead you can bake, chill and freeze
Module 2

The Two-Icing Rule

Outline · flood · fix what went wrong

Royal icing looks like an art. It's really two thicknesses. One holds the line, one fills it in. Get those two right and the rest follows, and when a cookie gets craters or the colors bleed, there's a page that shows you why.

  • The two consistencies, shown side by side
  • Craters, bleeding, cracks and runny icing
Module 3

15 Birthday & Name Designs

Names · numbers · balloons · party sets

A name on a cookie is why parents order twice. Every design is shown in numbered pictures, including simple lettering you can trace even if your handwriting is awful.

Module 4

15 Baby, Bridal & Wedding Designs

Onesies · rattles · dresses · rings · flowers

These are the orders with the bigger totals: two or three dozen in one go, weeks ahead. Soft colors, simple shapes and sets that match the party, so one shower turns into the next one.

Module 5

15 Holiday Designs

Valentine's · Easter · Mother's Day · Halloween

A reason to order all year. Each holiday has a small set you can bake ahead, so you open orders early and sell out before the week.

Module 6

Questions Before You Start

Do I get anything in the mail?

No. This is a digital method: you get instant access to every recipe, design and printable the moment you pay. Nothing is shipped, so there's no waiting and no shipping cost.

Can I sell cookies from my kitchen? Is it legal?

In most places, yes, but the rules are yours to check first. All 50 states allow some kind of home food sales, and about 18 ask for a license, permit, registration or inspection before you sell. Many have an annual sales cap, most limit selling across state lines, and royal icing isn't approved everywhere. The First 10 Orders Kit has a checklist of what to look up for your state and county.

I can't draw and I've never decorated a cookie. Will this work for me?

Yes. The Method was made for you. Every design is outline, flood and a few simple details, in numbered pictures. You don't need talent. You need two icing thicknesses and a little practice. Your first batch is the one to eat, not to sell.

How long does a batch take?

About an evening to bake and an evening to decorate a dozen once you've done it a few times. You can split it up however you like, because plain cookies keep well for days.

Do I need a stand mixer or fancy tools?

No. A hand mixer or a wooden spoon, a rolling pin, a few cutters, piping bags and food coloring. Most women spend about $75 to $200 on icing supplies, gel colors, piping bags, cutters and boxes before their first orders, and you can start with less.

Aren't there free tutorials online?

There are, and that's the problem. One video shows one cookie, and none of them tells you what to charge or who to sell to. You don't need another video. You need one method, in order, and a plan to turn it into extra income.

What can I actually earn?

It depends on your hours. If you keep about $42 a dozen, 2 dozen a week works out to about $4,300 a year. Showers and holiday boxes can pay more. Results are not guaranteed and depend on your effort, prices and area.

What should I charge?

Home bakers usually charge about $45 to $60 a dozen, and beginners often start around $40 to $50. The Price-Per-Dozen Calculator works out your real cost and your hours, so your price covers both. Showers and themed sets usually cost more.

What if my cookies turn out great and nobody buys them?

You start with people who already know you: friends, church, the school pickup line and your local Facebook group. Someone always has a birthday coming. The First 10 Orders Kit gives you the exact posts and messages, and the only thing you've spent is the $27.

What about allergies?

Cookies contain wheat, eggs and milk, and some recipes contain nuts. Most states require you to list them on a label. The kit includes a label you can fill in, and you should always ask customers about allergies before you bake. Never call a cookie allergy-safe or healthy.

I'm 60. Is it too late to learn this?

No. There's no age limit on a rolling pin. You work at your own table at your own pace, and you sit down to decorate. Many women who love this started after raising a family.

I can't compete with a big bakery.

You're not trying to. A big bakery won't put a little girl's name on 12 cookies for Saturday. You're the woman down the street who will.

I don't have time.

Two evenings a week is enough to start, and you pick the orders. If a week is busy, you say no. Plain cookies freeze, so you can bake when you have a free hour.

I've tried side hustles before.

MLMs make you buy stock and recruit your friends. This is the opposite: no stock, no recruiting, and you hand someone a box of something they love.

Can I share the Method with a friend?

No. You can sell as many cookies as you like, but the recipes, designs and printables are for you. Sharing or reselling them isn't allowed.

Is it safe to buy online?

Yes. Checkout is secure, everything arrives in your email the moment you pay, and you're covered for 7 days.

And if it's not for me?

Your purchase is covered for 7 days. Open the Method, bake a batch, and if it isn't for you, send us one email and we'll refund you in full.
